Kärcher, a leading brand of pressure washers in Europe, was looking to expand its presence in the American market. This electric model placed first in sponsored competition. The project focus was on semantic design— conveying product functionality and usage through physical cues. The product must speak to the consumer, “this is what I do, this is how I’m used, and this is who made me.”
