An electronics supplier to leading automakers had two goals for this project: The first was to discover what defines quality in portable electronics, and how this translates to in-car electronics. The second goal was to evaluate user preference of their control and interface concepts, identifying the characteristics an ideal knob, button, and dial possesses.

At Lextant, I was able to experience first hand how participatory research can inform the design process. Along the way I learned what is required for co-creation to be successful, and how to execute such a project.
